This review is just speaking to the office of the Foot and Hand Clinic, not the doctors, but let me tell you an office plays a big part in the care you receive, or don’t receive as the case is here. The people working in this office do not care about their patients’ well-being.
I lost an important part to the walking boot they gave me for a fracture. Not smart and my fault, but it happened. I called first thing last Monday morning to try to get a replacement — straight to voicemail with a promise to call back in 24 hours.
I tried various other routes to get in touch with someone who could help and was rebuffed repeatedly — they said I had to wait 24 – 48 hours for someone to return my call.
One person said I could try just showing up, but that it was no guarantee someone would actually help me. Well, Tuesday and Wednesday pass and I don’t get any call back and still can’t reach anyone of use. Was SOL for the Thanksgiving break.
Called first thing again the next Monday (today), again straight to voicemail. Called and spoke with the receptionist again in the afternoon, and again she said she couldn’t help me.
Finally I spoke with the office manager, who connected me with the orthotics/device person, who told me they couldn’t help me and I would have to order from their supplier directly.
WELL THANKS THAT INFORMATION WOULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE MORE HELPFUL LAST WEEK! My ankle is killing me, and I still won’t have the ($10) part until this coming Wednesday at the earliest.
