I am writing to complain about an issue with Online shopping.
I have already raised my issue within your organisation, but I feel that my issue is still unresolved, hence my need to involve you in helping to resolve this problem.
Here is what happened: I ordered some items to be delivered to me in Nigeria, based on the promotional advert that was sent to me by Sports Direct (SD), that they are taking orders to be shipped internationally for free (no caveat or clause was attached to the promo). I placed my order and upon arrival in Nigeria, DHL (their delivery partner) sent me an email asking me to come pay a sum (almost 75% of the cost of the goods I bought). That’s a cost I am not going to bear if I had known before buying the items.
This is not my first time of buying items from SD and being shipped to Nigeria, but this seems creepy and a scam. . This happened on December 25th, 2019
Either they prevail on DHL to deliver the goods to me or refund my money back to me and collect their items back from DHL.
