Poor service from accounts department | Vodacom

I made a payment myself on 15 January 2020. After numerous calls and emails to allocate this payment to my account, no success up to date. Therefor my account shows an arrears. I get promised that they will phone me back. Even went into a branch…no luck. POOR POOR POOR service. They just dont care about their customers. But when they can take your money each month, they are first in line.

Vodacom β€” contract services of vodacom

This complaint is about Vodacom. I have had my contract with them for almost 5 years now. Paid my account every single month on time and always tried to pay a bit extra for any hidden costs. In August 2019 Vodacom kept cutting my line and baring my service for no reason and I would have to spend hours on the phone trying to unblock my line.

I am self employed and run an online sales company so having access to my phone and internet is vitally important.

It was discovered that I have inactual fact had 4 additional numbers added to my name of which no concent or activation of a sim card was given. These numbers all received airtime of which again I had no knowledge of. A fraud claim was submitted to them fo the now R3000 plus that they apparently are outstanding. With the fraud claim 3 of the 4 numbers were cancelled.

I am still now being told that I am in arrears. They have cancelled all my contact services for the 2 numbers I make payment for that I am aware of and have now barred my line. Emails were sent back and forth cause I wanted them to prove to me where exactly that amount comes from as there are months where payments reflect in the beginning and the end of the month. I have yet to receive a detailed report of this.

Vodacom has now handed me over which again is detrimental to my business and is preventing me from getting any funding what so ever!!! No one has contacted me even though I have sent endless emails and requests to be called and my line is now barred

I am honestly at my wits end now with them I cannot continually to to spend hours on the phone to just have a rude, unhelpful person on the other end. I have proof of a payment every month for the numbers I use. My business is suffering as I cannot contact anyone unless connected to WiFi.

All I want is to get this contact cancelled and move to another provider that can actually do their job. Vodacom offers contracts to anyone on the planet yet the people that pay monthly they cut line and send to debt collectors.

Please can anyone please help me.. I am so close to reporting them to the consumer complaints. I never once argued boating money that I owe but if you cannot show me proof of where it is coming from or how it’s accumulated how can they expect me to pay for it.

Fed up, angry and frustrated 😠 will never recommend Vodacom to anyone ever!!!

Vodacom β€” delivery

good day my name is letlhogonolo cell number [protected] to who it may concern I am not happy at all with the service I receive from Vodacom I made my contact order last week…till today I am still waiting for my delivery my unit was delivered to the wrong address, why I don’t know clearly someone is not doing there job ur agent contacted me offered me a contract phone but now it’s a mission to get it delivered to the correct address…yesterday I call spoke to a very rude lady to update my address as agent inserted an incorrect address I ‘ve been getting empty promises about my delivery and I’ve lost hope in the order am tempted to cancel this contract coz my first experience is been hell I never expected this from Vodacom but clearly your employees don’t know what is customer service that’s why they don’t take customers seriously…

Vodacom β€” Airtime not enough

I have a few contracts with vodacom. I renewed a few this year and 2 contracts came with 2 phones and 2 sim cards. One is the original and the second sim is additional and it receives r65 of airtime, meaning there 2 sims that received r65 and thse numbesrs are [protected] and [protected]. These contracts were taken about 9 months ago and I dont use them for now but when I checked the airtime, I only found r130 of airtime in each. I called vodacom yesterday and I was told the airtime expires every 60 days. I had having a contract with vodacom from around the year 2000, I have always been accumulating airtime but today I am told it expires and I was never told. Please give me all my airtime for the past months and then we can start on a clean sheet of the airtime that expires.

Vodacom β€” Fibre

SADV installed fibre 3 days ago at our house. Vodacom is our service provider. After 3 days we still don’t have any internet. We keep calling the call centre with no success. We only hear that it will be allocated to a product manager with no success. No one ever gets back to me. Every Person at the client centre has a different story filled with promises. Please be aware of Vodacom’s pathetic service!!

Vodacom / upgrade

I just went to upgrade my contract, the man helping me with the sale scanned the wrong phone now I must wait for your system to clear before I can upgrade. I am quite upset with regarding to this because it is your employee who made the mistake. I had to take time of work etc and planned to get it finished today as they told me they will be getting stock today now with him making the mistake nothing is being done. he says we must just wait

My phone was stolen yesterday and i blocked the sim and phone. I was told to go for a sim swop today.
We went to the vodacom 4 u shop in cape gate. I have twins of just over a year and a 3 year old that i had to take with.
After standing in line for an hour i was next. The consultant came and assisted the young woman behind me. When i told him i was next in line he so so she is just going to pay for her sim swap. I left it but 20 min later he was stil chatting to her. When i asked to speak to the manager i was told that he is the assistant manager and what am i going to do about it.
His name is shaheem.

I feel that it was really poor client service! He insisted in helping the young woman first and then had a very bad attitude

Vodacom / service and communication

In febr 2019 ordered laptop. Spoken to different staff. Everyone said to call back, even 2nd in charge.
It’s now almost june 2019.
Still no follow-up calls received. Had to visit the shop myself.
No communication no laptop no follow-up calls. Not even from management.
I believe staff need to follow-up even to say why laptop is not arrived or what problem is.
Why advertising laptop but not deliver.Β 
Why not deliver the laptop lenovo I asked for but try to cel a more expensive contract.
I believe staff, including management need to get training in communication skills.
