It has been a while since I visited Wellness Massage & Skincare for my facial but my experience was sooo BAD I still think about it. Like Kate M. I purchased a Groupon…
some people may think that is a cheap way to get a service but I feel like it is a great way to attract new clients. And if I had a good experience I would have definitely come back but that was not the case at all.
Apparently, the way they work there is to sell sell sell even while you are trying to relax and enjoy your facial. I have been working in the beauty industry for over 6 years so I know how it is but there is a time and a place for everything, and this was not it.
Just feeding me b.s.throughout my WHOLE facial about why I needed to buy her products and how my skin needed this and needed that. Which was just all a part of her game?
I know what kind of skin I have and what I need and how to take care of it…I have been trained in skincare. I know some people like to force a sale but I would think they would know how to be a little more professional if this is your business.
To top it off also like Kate M. I was told that my face had a lot of clogged pores and needed to have extractions rather than the mask that was supposed to be a part of the facial.
Obviously, she didn’t have one or she just didn’t want to use a mask on someone who bought a Groupon which is also very unprofessional. It’s a shame because I was so looking forward to a relaxing facial and rearranged my schedule because Wellness did not have an appointment until about 2 months which was also very frustrating.
I do feel bad writing s review like this but it was something I was looking forward to experiencing and if I knew this is how things worked at Wellness I would have never gone to try it, maybe this will help someone else.
